Winston Churchill, Margerat Thatcher and Enoch Powell the best members the Tories ever had! but their party is now full of traitors.

If he had been as EU sceptic as everyone claims he is, he'd of left the Herd, Howe, Heseltine, Major and Clarke (big Tory Beasts) and joined UKIP a long time ago!

If he'd wanted to lose is well paid position & descend into oblivion, I suppose he would have joined UKIP

Proving he is just another career politician trying to hang onto a very lucrative job, knowing full well that even if Britain does become just a state of the United States Of Europe his job and pension are secure as an EU administrator! A British MPs work as a politician is only part time so he could afford to lose his parliamentary job and still be financially secure, there are no financial barriers to any of them joining UKIP!

Default John Redwood MP, pro-sovereignty, Conservative, Major, leadership contest

John Redwood MP is praised by a number of pro-sovereignty activists in the Conservative Party because he stood against the europhile 'Conservative' Prime Minister Major (a supporter of the euro) in the 1995 Conservative Party leadership contest - when others who said that they were against the euro and in favour of recovering our sovereignty from the EU did not 'stick their necks out' by standing (as candidates in that leadership contest).

And almost certainly lose his seat and thus any influence he may have. I agree with you in principle Kernow but it aint going to happen unlessan MP is coming to the end of their career, faces deselction e.g like George Gardiner and the referndum party or is almost certain to lose their seat anyway.

Remember even the likes of Theresa Gorman only supported UKIP after she had retired, and even she voted for Masstricht on the Social Chapter Motion when Major made it a vote of confidence.

I dislike all of them.

Thatcher was a socially authoritarian europhile.

It's got to be Churchill or Powell.
