That's why I put it in the talk about anything section.

The new members today have all joined, to defend their precious. Only they don't defend, because they have no defence.

Which is what I thought all along.

It's a waste of bandwidth and generates unnecessary divisiveness and bile. If you feel that way, then fine - but do we need to hear about it every five minutes and do we need a poll - satirical or otherwise - about your personal view about another minor party?

It looks unprofessional. That's all I'm saying.

That's fine, that's your opinion.

As it's my bandwidth to waste and I don't really care if it looks professional or not, you'll forgive my opinion of not really giving a toss.

Ignore it if you don't want to take part.

It was only a few days ago that English Democrat told mkpdavies to "p*** off to Northern Ireland if you want to be British". So in terms of bile I think that personal abuse counts as a lot more serious and we know where the bile is coming from.

As for divisiveness, it is entirely appropriate that we use the forum to highlight the massive division there is between the sectarian nationalism and separatism of the EDP and the genuine wish of most here to get out of the EU as a principal aim. We can highlight such divisions through argument, as we frequently do, or humour, as in this thread.

What would be totally wrong would be to give people the impression that UKIP shares any platform with the likes of the EDP.

As can be the seen by the hysterical responses from the army of subversion, they don't like the light being turned to their own cause.

No attempts to defend their position, no attempts to correct my line of thinking.

Just a load of hot air and toys being thrown out of the pram.

It's what I expected, though did hope someone would try and put the case for why the English Democrats are not the most dangerous of enemies, the ones that pretend to be something they are not.

Yep I set it up to spark some outrage amongst the supporters of this squalid little party. Sadly they have all just proven my fears correct. They have no argument for the approach they are taking, so why do they get so upset when it is questioned?

I think we all know the answer to that and this is exaclty the kind of danger all people, including those who truly want English people to have power over their own destiny, have to recognise, then deal with.

Beware the party that sells false hope.

You don't think mkpdavies' perpetual barracking of the EDP might have motivated that reaction in any way?

Then make it a sticky. Then new posters can read it without - understandably - getting confused.

If you want new members and serious debate, threads like this are not the way to generate them.

Why would my opinions drive it one way or another? I am one poster, with my own opinions.

Thanks for escalating me to someone of major importance and influence, but that ain't my opionion of my position.

I do want to drag the EDP army in here. I want them to explain themselves.

I'm still waiting and I'm tired of asking nicely.

More for my personal amusment than anything.

I still haven't decided whether it's a case of simple mindedness or true subversion. Maybe a mixture of both.
HMMmmm? . . . but the EDP didn't organise this poll.

Do you always try to make others responsible for something over which they have no authority? Are you sure you're not really a secret New Labour type?

I'm sorry if you feel these queries are somehow attacking the UKIP.

Ah! but you don't really want them to explain, do you.

If they do explain, it upsets you - so my chums on other fora tell me. Then, apparently, you threaten to block them.

No PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEASE do explain it and then, when I ask questions about the bit that doesn't add up, instead of just ignoring the questions and attacking me/UKIP/other, actually answer the question.

I won't hold my breath.
