Yes, it's a rubbish symbol, if only because it is ambiguous and can convey the wrong impression. It seems to be someone's bright idea of somehow embellishing a long winded statement of policy which latter, despite its unnecessary version of EU history, still omits to express the huge amount of opposition amongst EDP members to continued EU membership.

Even so, it is intemperate for MKP to use expressions such as "the treachery behind the facade". It suggests more of what is undesirable about about the UKIP than what is welcome. Whatever wild assertions are made about the EDP (which, it has to be said, occupies no significant public positions), surely it is appreciated that the real enemy is elsewhere, as I attempted to point out above.

I suppose one might attempt to cast the EDP as some kind of trojan horse, but even this is not really sustainable and, therefore, not credible!

You may accuse the EDP of bringing about a situation which you oppose - unjustifiably in my opinion - but we often think that you are your own worst enemies, and more likely to do so yourselves by aiming your fire at us. All I can say to is the transfer of members from one party to another seems to be only one way at the moment: out of UKIP and frequently to the EDP. Perhaps the kind of extreme and unwarrantedly hostile attitudes to be seen here have something to do with this feature?

Mr Davies you need working on Boy!

Why are you so abusive to English Democrats, the current mess within the UK cannot continue and what is so wrong with an English parliament and being proud to be English? The Democrats are not against anyone...we are just putting England First!

cassie rubbishes my point, which was asked in good faith. Then when Ukipman uncovers something, we suddenly get agreement on ambivalence. Wow! Is debate so precious? :?

Wow! So, it seems, is sarcasm!

You chose some unfortunate terms. I do not agree that I 'rubbished' your point. As for your having 'asked' something, I did not see anything in your posting couched in an interrogative form; it was as assertive as this last one of yours.

Bit touchy, aint you?

Well you did rubbish the point. I was trying to find out where the EDP stands. OK, there was no question mark, but I think others got the point. You still haven't answered the point. So I will ask a proper question now!

Is the EDP campaigning for withdrawal or just a referendum? Simple?

Ooooh is that a threat. Another attribute to add to the list for the most subversive party in British politics.

The English Democrats are a weak pathetic joke. Always have been, always will be.

If England does ever get a fair deal, it will be someone else who gets it, not the joke party calling themselves the English Democrats.
