Default Britain is now a third world country?

seems to me it is!

everything we once held dear has been sold off to Foreigners

Rolls Royce, HP Sauce, every car Manufacturer under the Sun, the list just goes on and on

no wonder there is no Pride in the Country anymore

I blame the EU

as soon as we joined it became apparrent that the majority of Lorries on our Roads were Foreign!

it just progressed from there

did you realise that in Sir Henry Royces will He stipulated that if "ever Rolls Royce fals into Foreign Hands it will cease to be"?

it aint!!!

kick a Man when He is down or what?

I blame the commies. Pretty much everything which is wrong with this country can be traced back to commies or socialists.

Its nothing to do with the EU.
The Conservative and Liberal party backed Privatisation of much of our British industrys since 1979.
Labour of course joined them in this since the 1990's.
As for foreign ownership of non-Nationalised British companys thats been backed by the Liberal party since it was founed, by the Labour party and Conservative party since the 1930's.

Default EU to blame ( as usual)

I think you'll find it's got everything to do with the EU  - all these privatisations you are complaining about are largely instigated by EU Directives. The railways, for instance, is a good example  . Directory Enquiries is another. Both of these 'deregulations' were, in fact, not the work of the British Government. They were pushed through what is supposed to be our national parliament by ministers acting upon instructions received from the EU :x  .

The state owned industries were massively overstaffed, incompetent management, jobs for life for everyone who worked there and were haemoraging a large fortune every year.

No government had the guts to put sort them out so flogged them off for the new owners to 'streamline' etc etc.

The state of the rail infrastructure by the way came about when a massive refit of the track was dues, Maggie's mob put it out to yender and the cheapest bid came from China, thus the final nail was hammered into British Steels coffin and the country bought cheap steel rails from China that are now falling to bits.

Buy cheap, buy twice, as my gran always used to say.

but nowadays with privatisation instead of too many indians etc we have Shareholders who must have a profit at any expense, hence everything is far more expensive (relatively), ie water rates, years ago there weren't any! they were included in your very low Rates!! and cost was next to nothing!, water companies were privatised and now we are paying nearly £40 a month here for Poisoned water eh?

I blame PLC!
