I agree that the forum has gone flat.

I agree there is only so many times you can argue over a subject.

I agree the regular posters (including me) are a bit obsessed with the EU. I believe it is an issue we should all be greatly concerned with, but convincing people of that is another thing.

I believe we need some more opposing views from the other camps. I will try not to scare them anymore!

I disagree with the posting news snippets bit. If people have counter arguments or snipets, then please do post them!!! Don't expect me to play devils advocate though, I fail miserably every time I do that!

I do think some more non news story related issues need bringing up. However, you really do need some oppsoing views to make this interesting.

Finally, I do believe a lot of people are now in the thick of campaigning. Not all if us get the time to sit at a screen now, unlike me!

I find it hard to answer the single issue argument. The bottom line for me, is it is the single most important issue, while I do care a lot about other issues, such as Iraq war, civil liberties etc. I do understand that the rest of Britain is more focussed on more immediete issues such as immigration, tax, NHS, education etc.

UKIP are the only party that makes the EU and issue, I think that in itself is very important. One of the parties main objectives has to be to get people to think about the issue at least. How do you do that without being seen as a single issue party?

mkpdavies I don’t think that people are in the thick of campaigning Is the reason why the forum has gone flat. I still maintain that a quite a few of the more vocal members have gone over to the other place. I do think that some of the debates there have been leaning to the right a bit, but this stimulates debate and therefore attracts more members. My personnel disappointment is the lack of people that will take part in a poll. I don’t know whether its because the poll gets moved down the pile quickly or people cant be bothered
