Default EU TO BE A DICTATORSHIP?

Of the 25 EU Countries, I think you will find that 16 of them have been accustomed to living under the heel of Dictators during various times. The 4 Candidate Countries have all been under the laws of Dictators as well. This is alarming stuff.

I think I'm right in saying that the oldest democracies in Europe are Britain, Switzerland and Iceland. And of course Switzerland and Iceland have steered clear of the EU.

There are ways of dealing with dictators. We had plans in the case of Britain being run by a foreign power over 60 years ago. There is no reason why someone should not be preparing for the worst now.

And me.

By the way, we were a dictatorship ourselves, you know. Have we forgotten 'Warts-n-All Cromwell, whose dictatorship was so beneficient that 400 years later we still know his name?
