scotgirl puts her hand up to ask our most wonderful and dashing administrator Anthony a question

I know you are busy at the moment etc but for this forum have you ever considered more colour here

it may be a small thing but the Veritas forum yoiu have set up has colour and "in my own mind" slightly more professional and as i spend so much time in both it just my opinion. this one looks like a this is how it came out of the box standard

just thought i would ask as the thought came fluttering though my head

The problem is that you can either have a different design, or you can have the additional functionality. The forum code allows "mods" to add things such as making the forums search engine friendly. However, these are only applicable to this particular design, which is why there are so many forums on the web using the same design.

If I use a different design, like the Veritas one, it means that I can't use certain features like the search engine promotion. I was actually planning to change the other one back to this design... :?

a very good answer which explains a lot. i thought people were just being boring but fair enough

as someone who has never administrated (is that a word) a forum i didnt apprecialte the complexities but that makes sense

personally i just like colour

if you change the Veritas forum back to the standard colour scheme your going to need to borrow my armour there will be a select few Veritas members trying to claim that its you trying to somehow undermine them and that its another Anthony UKIP Butcher conspiricy

personally i would like to thank you for providing both of these forums i have enjoyed the experience so far

You're quite right there are some lovely people on this forum, but not all of them are what they seem! Luckily I am.

Havent got a clue what you mean but its bringing up some strange images of people who can change shape or form

or people with faces hidden under cloaks typing hunched over keyboards

absolutly no relevence to anything but i thought i would share
