Default Trying to locate a document

I am trying to locate a document which was apparently seen recently at a UKIP meeting.

The problem is that the information I have has come to me via a series of different people and has probably become somewhat garbled as a result.

Anyway - this is what I know. A4 booklet, possibly "an EU publication", seen and discussed at a recent UKIP meeting possibly (but not definitely) somewhere in the West Country, contains maps of regions in the UK, possibly with some of the text in French.

The friend who asked me about this has been in touch with all sorts of people who might be expected to know about it but he has had no success in getting anyone to recognise it. Any clues to the mystery would be much appreciated by him - and by me!

Thanks

Sounds like a bloody Frenchman with a book of maps,on a reconnaisance mission to see what lands he will be getting after the big 3 hand over the Country to the EU.

A vague description, but it sounds like a 'Committee of the Regions' document. They are English/French.

Try this link:

http://www.cor.eu.int/en/

This will probably depress you, but it is their homepage and there are links to their documents.

A bit off topic, but the referenced document refers to Wroclaw, a city in Poland.

Now here's an interesting fact. Wroclaw, over the centuries, has changed hands a couple of times, lastly during the second world war when it went back to the Poles, the city having been ceded to Prussia in the 14th Century. It was called Breslau then, but in 1945 the Germans were evicted by the Poles (who didn't feel kindly toward them!) and the city became 'Wroclaw'.

Whilst not too many airlines fly INTO phpbb_wroclaw, one which does is Lufthansa, the german flag carrier.

One Lufthansa flight requires a change at (I think) Frankfurt. Once in Frankfurt you can't find your connecting flight to Wroclaw - because it shows on all the boards as - you guessed it - Breslau.

No sense of humour some people.....

I like the 'Committee of the Regions Unanimously Supports the Constitution for Europe' bit.

Quelle surprise.

And no mention of the impending NE implosion, nor the SW, SE, NE jungle drums rumbling, either.
