To lighten things up, I thought an "Anagram" thread may be a cool idea.
To get y'all started, here are a few anagrams of "The Conservative Party" Nervy, apathetic voters. Reach vain petty voters. Votes threaten privacy. Not very private cheats.

Not forgetting "The Labour Party":
Tory alpha brute. Holy bat rapture Burp rattle ahoy!. Truly bath opera. The royal pub rat. Tony Blair: Rainy blot. Tiny labor.

Ashley Mote MEP:
Tease homely MP (harsh) Empty home sale (possibly accurate) To my male sheep (the mind boggles!) Male mesophyte (I know, but somebody has to raise the tone...) Yes! A mole - the MP (does someone know something?) Nigel Farage MEP: Pilferage 'n' game (surely not!) MP fearing eagle (hmmm) Free ageing lamp (just call me Aladdin) Repel if gaga, men! (no comment) Feel a German pig (one of the lesser MEP perks?) Anthony Bennett, MA: Amen! That bonny net (so many forums to contribute to) Moth-eaten BT nanny (not saying anything...) Tenth yob, 'n' neat man (couldn't possibly comment) Batty man, then none (likewise) By tent on an anthem (a reference to interfaith dialogue?) |
