Courage of your convictions?

While I was giving away leaflets the other day, I offered a old Gent a Leaflet. He grunted at me and said Im NF,

fair enough Guv, all people are entitled to their views.

He then proceded to enter the shop that sells Groceries, after he came out of there he went INTO phpbb_a shop that sells Newspapers,

which to me and people like me is ok but these shops were run by a gentleman from India and the other one is from Pakistan. :?

I would say NO - we need to move forward.......... that is not to say we ignore the Commonwealth - we patch up our friendships and count them as our allies...........

However, our future is in what we do best - the ideas factory for the rest of the world - we encourage our innovative streak that has served us so well...... We go on to be productive and to export our ideas and technology......... so thats what we need to improve first....... our capabilities in the areas we succeed in...our innovative technical excellence

Is that the Commonwelth of Australia, New Zealand & Canada? the ones we turned our collective backs on in faviour of the EEC? why would they want to 'have us back'? or are we talking about the Commonwelth of those nations like India, Guana and Jamaca? the only thing we can do here is export our jobs to their offshore call centers.

The UK's hope of economic growth is to trade with all freetrade nations, forget the old days they are gone, the US wont save us nor will our chums in Europa, we need to stop reliance on North Sea oil revenue and get the UK back to a climate of real growth.
