The UK's hope of economic growth is to trade with all freetrade nations, forget the old days they are gone, the US wont save us nor will our chums in Europa, we need to stop reliance on North Sea oil revenue and get the UK back to a climate of real growth.
Because we are family and the trade was good for both. No reason why we coldn't keep relations with the non Anglo countries

I saw the old chap helping the gentlmen to either make his life in this country better by helping with his finances.

or as your policy says taking part in the introduction of:

and the introduction of a system of voluntary resettlement whereby those immigrants who are legally here will be afforded the opportunity to return to their lands of ethnic origin assisted by a generous financial incentives both for individuals and for the countries in question

Go tell this to Canadians, or/Aussie-New Zelanders and they will laugh at you! I have lived in Canada and NZ and many people may speak kindly of the British or have relatives but they do not consider a strong bond with the Mother Country anymore, maybe if this was 1955 but times have moved on.

In fact I think the UK should leave the Commonwealth it does us no good.

Simply that we cannot go back to how things were - we have to consolidate and make friends, but we shouldn't just rely on old associations to see us through....... we have to expand our influence and allies

2 An ' ally " Against whom this time and for what ?

By ally, I mean friend........ no for or againt intended - just countries and organisations we can trade, communicate with and be considered friends

I may be naive but surely we should trade with whoever is useful to us. In my opinion the only people we shouldn't deal with are the known nasties of this World. But let us look after the home market first. British farms in the distant past used to produce for the farm and sell the surplus. In my opinion we should get back to that way of business. The present day of businesses having to expand to increase profits for share holders can only go on for so long, before it implodes. We cannot go on expanding without it all ending in tears! The present situation of building new towns for an imported population will end in worse than tears!
