I'm actually starting to feel a bit sorry for the pair. The press are being horrible as usual. I'm no Royalist, but no-one deserved the ridicule they have been subjected to recently.

Presumably somewhere on Prince Charles' staff is a bloke with a grey suit and impeccable manners whose job it is to check out the administrative and logistical details before Charles agrees to do stuff. A fixer, in other words. Well, my guess is that that poor sod, whoever he is, won't be getting many Christmas cards this year.

No one seems to beinterested in souvenirs then, other than of me. The public does not want the Monarchy to continue after the Queen gives up. Will she resign or will she carry on till she drops, lest Charles and Camilla take over?
