Default Good on Ireland! Metric adoption on the roads

I've never worked out why we still use Metric - I dont even know how many meters are in a mile & I'd welcome the upgrade to our system!

I guess you meant Imperial.

Done this argument before, still haven't heard of what benefits making things Metric will bring, only that it will cost a lot.

Has the EU said with any conviction that they have dropped or have never had any plans to make us drive on the right at any time, ever?

Absolute waste of money.

It has been scientifically proven that even with signs in kilometres, the journey is just as long and takes just as much time to complete.
