Default Americans believe, it must be true!

Tony Blair! The Anti christ! Americans believe, it must be true

A Time/CNN poll has found that 17 per cent of Americans -- nearly one in five -- believe that the end of the world will come in their lifetimes, and 59 per cent believe that the prophesies about the end of the world found in the Christian New Testament Book of Revelations are true and will happen, if not in the near future.

Apparently, many of them also think that British Prime Minister Tony Blair fits the definition of the Antichrist who will govern the world for seven years during the Time of Tribulation, after which Jesus will appear in glory to rule for 1,000 years before the Last Judgment of God.

I'm not a religous man, but Blair has almost convinced me that the above is true!

Yup. Much of America seems stuck 18th century.

Many also seem unable to grow up - even their politicians go around in baseball caps. It seems they don't know they are worn back to front these days

Haven't heard it yet.
I doubt it is much different from his usual rhetoric.

My guess is all he talked about was liberty, freedom and democracy.
Oh - and the biggest U.S. voter vote-catcher - patriotism.
I'll bet he never said what he intends to do to achieve these things.

He used the word "tyranny" five times, "liberty" 15 and "freedom" 27.

A certain minister seems to agree with the President

Quote:
Offering one prayer, the Rev. Billy Graham said he believed God had a hand in Bush's re-election.

"Their next four years are hidden from us, but they are not hidden from you," said the 86-year-old evangelist, whom Bush credits with inspiring him to reaffirm his faith and give up drinking at age 40. "You know the challenges and opportunities they will face. Give them a clear mind, a warm heart, calmness in the midst of turmoil, reassurance in times of discouragement and your presence always."
And surprise surprise, now Spongebob causes people to be gay
