Default Kilroy-Silk and Howard to unite, form Back and Forth Party

http://deadbrain.co.uk/news/article_2005_01_17_2023.php

Quote:
Both Mr Kilroy-Silk and Mr Howard failed to gain control of their respective parties, and the surprise move is seen by some political pundits as an attempt to distance themselves in order to avoid the spectre of failure. Douglas Ramsbottom, Professor of Political Science and Embroidery at the University of Bootle suggested to our reporter that Mr Howard may have become finally disillusioned with the Conservative Party's prospects following first the defection of Robert Jackson, the former higher education minister, and then today's assertion by Charles Kennedy that the Lib Dems are the "authentic opposition" to New Labour.

Quote:
The new party, which will combine the general policies of UKIP and the Conservative Party, is to be called the Back and Forth Party, in recognition of its wishing to present itself as bi-directional, looking backwards and respecting long-standing British traditions such as isolation from Europe and hunting with hounds, but at the same time projecting an image of a progressive, forward-looking entity with fresh new ideas for the twenty-first century. Neither Mr Kilroy-Silk nor Mr Howard was able to give our reporter any examples of the latter, claiming that the party's platform is still under development.

Meanwhile, negotiations between the new party and Charlie from "Busted", an alleged musical act of little or no talent, have broken down. It had been hoped that the supposed singer would be able to join to make a trio of discontented right-wing irritating people, but sources say he will instead make a grab for Mr Howard's old job as interim leader of the Conservative Party.

You can tell a Labour luvvie wrote this. Gently kissing the **** of his beloved Tony Blair, while trying to rubbish the other parties with humour. I laugh at the author, while laughing with him!
