How do we get this lady what she deserves - a knighthood.

Write to the queen in big numbers, copy prince Charles.

I don't particulary care for the honours system, but she would deserve recognition more than most.

I Agree Absolutely - talking as a Charity volunteer and director of a Charity.

NO awards to people who are anyway paid a good salary and a pension, particularly absolutely NO awards to those for whom an award seems to be part of their career structure.

Awards must be for those who inspire, and/or those who give freely for others. Ellen is in the first category.
