Default GOODBUY NIGEL GARAGE

Mr. Garage was a very good member of this forum, he supported this party, the UKIP party, he has stated that he will not be renewing it. Mr. Garage has many better views than me, and he is much more in tune with poilitics than me and much more able to change things and sort things out, but he has deserted us, and gone over to "Veritas" that has not even been formed. He has stated that he thought it better to remain in the party and change things from the inside but he now realises that it is pointless. I am new and I realise there are many difficult days ahead. I have been in business for many years and know that something worth fighting for takes a very long time. If he is not with us in UKIP why keep him on this forum? Let him get his own "Veritas" forum and promote them instead of degrading the members who still believe and are with UKIP. We may not be right but we still believe and until either Kilroy ,Garage or whoever can show that they have a party or anything that is in any way tangible let them go, because we surely do not want or need them. Maybe in a few months or years it might be different but now UKIP is the ONLY PARTY regardless of anything, as there is no other party[/quote]

Michael - I for one am now having serious thoughts about what I believed in.

Yes, the leadership is poor, possibly corrupt, but until recently I thought this was only at the top and things could change. The people on the ground were idealistic, honest, everyday people I could relate to. People who believed in freedoms, and so I believed.

Then people like you, apparently party apparatchiks, appear and just start slagging people off for having different views. Nigel has a differing angle to you - so what?

Your solution seems to be exactly at odds to what you would like to be seen to be preaching. What sort of example are you setting, or is it more a case of following examples you have been set?

You should be disappointed in yourself. If you want to control who posts then go and set up your own site, maybe UKIP will endorse that one.

I guess he will disapear sooner or later, as Veritas starts operating properly. This forum is open to all though, as long as they don't constantly break the rules or abuse people.

Now our Nigel liked to push the boundaries, but not to the point of being banned (though I know some would argue otherwise).

Anthony could ban him tommorow, but this would go against the ethos of the board and it is down to him in the end.

Hopefuly he will concentrate his energies on attacking Labour, Conservatives and the Lib Dems, the pro-EU parties. If not then we can all draw our own conclusions, but I am hopeful that they will focus on the right enemy.

I meant Nigel Garage, not you. Sorry if I was unclear.

You have no reason to stop posting as you are obviously still dedicated to UKIP and see it as the best hope.

Nigel has lost faith and has declared his intentions to move on. Thus I expect him to disappear soon to fight for Veritas against the EU supporting parties. Why would he come here to rubbish a leadership that is not his problem anymore?

Calm down kids, I'm still here! As soon as Veritas is officially launched I'll be working hard to set up and run it, and of course to get elected. I hope I won't have any time to post here or anywhere else! Meanwhile, I'll continue to refute the lies of the leadership's paid supporters, and try to bring light to those who labour in darkness.

By the way Michael, it's 'goodbye' not 'goodbuy'.

I hope NG keeps posting. As has been said this is a forum for all eurosceptics, not just UKIP.

You never know, Veritas might well be the main vehicle for our common aim at the next election, and the views of "insiders" will be extremely valuable
