Is it me, or is the BBC behaving in an almost flippant manner over donations to the Tsunami appeal ? On radio 2 today, it was almost like "a keeping up with the Jones's" competition. Who can donate more than who ? Which DJ can attract the most donations ? Which company can we slag off for not donating enough ? Which country can we slag off for not donating enough ? Who can we hound to death and embarrass to get more donations ?
There is no question whatsoever that those poor people need all the help they can get, but i must say, i was somewhat sickened by what i was hearing today ! |

And what is the EU planning to do? Hold a donors' conference, with free food and travel for politicians and eurocrats. I bet the tsumani victims will be so grateful!
