Default More Jam Than Hartley's

Gemma,
With due respect, I just cannot accept that anyone could be so dumb as to wander onto a website that is jam pack FULL of politics posted by, mostly, middle aged old farts, and start to post teenage pap.

Anyone like Keane? Anyone want to play a word game?

If you REALLY want to get involved then read through ALL the other postings on all the threads and get involved in fighting for freedom.

However, I suspect that you are one of three things:-

1) UKIPMAN's daughter.

2) A journalist pretending to be a 16 year old girl hoping that somebody sends you a suggestive PM so you can do a UKIP paedophile expose.

3)Tthe blondest woman on the planet.

Either way I think the games up, don't like to put off a potential voter but it's time to get your coat girl.

Thanks for the distraction anyway.

Hmmm, How odd that a 16 year old is posting here in this fashion. My 17 year old daughter won't have anything to do with my politics and posts on 'proper' teen sites as does my partner's 13 year old.

Whilst I was fascinated by politics at the age of 16 and attended meetings etc, I didn't start off word games or discuss music when the Europe referendum was being fought (my first vote at the age of 18 and one month was a resounding 'No').

I think someone's setting us up for a fall. :? Note the standard teenage posting style - lack of capitalisation, 'your' for 'you're' etc. - could well be a journo.

why would a journalist bother with an un-official UKIP forum where anyone can post whether being member or not?

you're probably right..... I'm in a minority of youth that bother with politics and that's mostly because I'm both a student and run a company so it effect my life everyday in everyway and I wanna change it!

Biscuit man - you of all people should know 16's legal so it's all ok for 2!
- it's the jailbait you've got to be careful of!

Journalists like a story.

Why would a 16 year old girl stumble across a site called 'ukipforum' and be surprised when asked if she was a member of UKIP? The clue is in the name. I know I did Latin at school and knew what a 'forum, fora n. N' was at the age of 11, but I don't see that a teenager used to chat rooms etc. could not know what 'ukipforum' meant.

Potential voters might come here, myself included, but people interested in politics don't start word or music games in fora (third declension, neuter plural) dedicated to political debate.

If you read 'ukipwatch' (owned by Jo Wood a Labour Party activist and EU candidate in the June elections) you will see that there are a lot of people out there looking for the ridiculous quote or the dubious link to right wing groups in the past. Corbett, the Labour MEP, is also involved with the same site and I suspect his researchers regularly check in here to look for the more esoteric comments.

It's like the people who go to the Labour site and tell them what they think Labour has done for Britain - the Labour supporters are sitting up all night putting in quotes and comments to 'puff' the government whilst others are attacking Bliar and his cronies with abandon. Some posts remain; some are removed. It doesn't take the brains of a rocket scientist to work out which are kept up there and which disappear INTO phpbb_the ether.

The teenagers who my daughter brings round would not stumble across this site, and nor I'm afraid would any other disinterested teenager. Remember that this is a small site at the moment and has less than 300 regular subscribers. There are reckoned to be over 6 billion pages up on the Internet; if you don't type in the correct words on Google or whichever search engine you use you won't stumble across things by chance. I'm a member, under several names, of a site with 40,000 'subscribers'. Although there is a discussion area for general topics we still don't appear to get this sort of teenager although we do get some seriously immature adults!

Remember the old war time adage 'Walls Have Ears'; if you don't want something to be read by your 'enemies' don't post it here!

Doc, you are making the assumption that 'gemma' is the age she says she is.

If she's not bogus then her writing and approach is immature for a 16 year old.
