Roadie, that's greatI see that they are selling for £65 which is a fair bit for a crappy old dog, or not so crappy as it turns out.

I have a Samsung Brick heavy duty phone. I have kicked it, thrown it, drowned it, driven over it and inflicted countless other batterings on it and it just keeps going. It's a great phone but has too many gizmos, they are the main cause of me repeatedly launching it in a fit of temper, as I am put on the internet when I want to find the calender, or its torch come on in my pocket or glove box and then when I need it, the battery is flat, but it is bl00dy tough!
Thanks for the offer AM but I am seriously considering not having one after the above Samsung jacks in, if ever.

AT&T has a 5 year exclusive on the iPhone in the US. While their coverage is generally very strong and broad, only you know if their service is available and adequate in your area.
At least Apple has unleashed the big guns for this effort - before we get into the headline specs, the design itself is a massive talking point on its own.
