    Vote Match, Unlock Democracy's online tool for matching voters with parties and candidates, has won the Association of Online Publishers 2011 Award for Innovation, specifically for the version which we produced for the Telegraph for the 2010 General Election.

    What does being unitary have to do with having a second chamber? Almost all democracies, whether unitary or federal, have an upper house.

    Can you name a democratic state that doesn't?

    If the House of Lords is no longer a House of Lords then it becomes pointless and we should just move to having one House.

    Loads do.
    Greece, Georgia, Sweden, Iceland, Hungary, South Korea, New Zealand, Norway etc etc.
