What damage has Ison done to UKIP in the West Midlands? I can answer that one - NONE and to our massive detriment. The fact that Ison managed to salvage anything from the UKIP bloodbath that was Solihull says something. If it hadn’t have been for Ison WE would have defeated the Lib Dems and Maggie Throup would have been our Solihull MP. Although I sympathise with UKIP I feel that they shouldn’t have stood in such a marginal like Solihull. However, it is widely acknowledged that Ison did rather well at all of the hustings that he attended and even the Labour Candidate, Sarah Merrell, and the Lib Dem, Lorely Burt, told Ison at the hustings (where your former MEP Sinclaire was ejected as (s)he wasn’t wanted) that he was very accomplished at public speaking. Quite simply he kept us out.
The fact that the poster 111 states that the number of candidates has fallen from 17 to 3 is crass as it is stupid. From reading the posts of 111 it appears that they are juvenile in their understanding and possibly a paid employee of Sinclaire. Let’s call them employee 1. The real fact is that Sinclaire tried to screw UKIP Solihull and Ison exposed her deceit. I have it from a reliable source that Mike Nattrass also highlighted this in an email AFTER Ison left Sinclaire employment. Therefore the number fell due to Sinclaire and her underhand tactics and not due to Ison’s involvement.
I have been fortunate to have taken a few days away from Solihull and the forthcoming elections but I’m enjoying the sun in the South West and contemplating the issues on this forum and also considering an incident last week which angered me. Neil Watts, the SAMRA candidate AKA The Nikki Sinclaire Party, was delivering leaflets down the road where I live. As I was outside he approached me and asked me if I wanted to meet Ms Sinclaire. He was clearly promoting his employer (employee number 2 (as I understand Sinclaire likes to buy her supporters)) and was taken aback when I declined his offer. So many people simply don’t like Sinclaire and she doesn’t get it! [ snipped - potentially libellous ] Clearly he has a lot to learn. Earlier that week the Sinclaire issue was mentioned by Ms Spelman discussing the Gypsy Camp in Meriden and pointed out the fact that David McGrath had appeared as a paid employee of Sinclaire on her website whilst purporting to be the independent Chairman of RAID. So employee number three of Sinclaire eh and Sinclaire buying more votes?
Now the most interesting issue that came to light was another employee of Sinclaire’s going by the name of Dollman. An ex member of UKIP Solihull has reliably informed me that Dollman is Sinclaire’s parents name and she has a brother living in Kent – Gillingham I understand but it’s not Gary. Oddly if you follow
this link you will see that Sinclaire’s personal assistant is Charlotte Dollman and a quick
search online suggest that she is between 16 and 20. Hmmm an EU assistant who is a possible member of her family being paid a hefty salary? What’s going on? [ snipped - potentially libellous ]
The poster going by the name of Steve Morson appears to be getting very excited that he is being ignored but getting very aggressive in that he appears to want to be the next West Midlands UKIP MEP. I have tried to call Ison regarding the allegations which have been made against him by Mr Morson but Ison is refusing to take my calls. I do have an opportunity this weekend to get some more information on this point and if it is appropriate I will post it next week.
Finally I note that the moderator Richard Allen has previously assisted the poster 111 in clarifying that he is not Steve Moron
See Link Why, therefore does he not do the same with Independent UKIP as he ‘could’ have applied the same ‘answer’ to 111?

I have been told by a member of the Hodge Hill branch that Sinclaire paid for some of the election leaflets for the 2010 General Election and this was acknowledged by the committee (which includes Richard Allen). It apparently has been confirmed in writing and I’m sure Mr Allen would want to personally congratulate Sinclaire on her generosity. Mr Allen, are you going to delete this as it's "too difficult to handle" or leave it unchanged? It has also been confirmed to me that Mr Allen is good friends with the
[ snipped ] Josh O’Nyons – 111 by any chance? I do recall that the last time I did speak to Ison he told me that a tape recording did exist of O’Nyons at the meeting where O’Nyons and Sinclaire had a unanimous vote of no confidence made against them. On the tape O’Nyons firstly asks if the meeting was being taped (yes was the answer) and then on the tape it is clear that O’Nyons actually [ snipped ] hence his resignation as detailed in the hyperlink above. So far as O’Nyons friendship’s go with the other young independence members, 111, sorry, O’Nyons might as well have leprosy – he is despised – naturally.
So there we have it folks – it’s a double edged sword for us in Solihull. We desperately was Cameron to change but we need solidarity and with Allen, O’Nyons, Sinclaire, Morson etc trying to ruin UKIP’s chances what hope do we have? I’ll report on the Morson situation when I have accurate information.
Sleep tight.
