The UKIP candidate for the Leicester South by-election has caused outrage by condemning Islam on his blog.

Racist slurs against Muslims on Pandya's blog - hardly the way to get elected in Leicester South. I live in Highfields in the constituency, it is a multicultural community which faces high levels of unemployment, but this is not limited to any one group of people. I think the answer is to fight for decent jobs as a whole community, not to victimise a single ethnic / religious group.

Multicult causes unemployment and it washes into every group of people. The obvious answer is to fight multicult from spreading and therefore protect and save Englands cities/towns from becoming shitholes like Calcutas and islamabads. Liecester is still in England and English.

UKIP's vote is not far off the monster raving loony vote because the party doesn't have policies which resonate with working class voters who live in the real world.

What is strange is that public opinion is still moving steadily against the EU. The Express is fully on the anti-EU side. While the Telegraph and Daily Mail are sceptical of the EU, but are a little bit cautious of coming out and saying so boldly.

Public opinion is getting more eurosceptic every day. But this popular movement does not translate into votes in the ballot box.

That is the problem.
