    Default Liberal Democrats becoming Tories?

Are the Liberal Democrats beginning to become indistinguishable from the Tories? (Who took the Liberal out of the Democrats? » National Liberal Party | LIBERTY: INDEPENDENCE: DEMOCRACY)

When we get closer to the next G E I expect to hear that some LD MPs will be offered the chance to keep their seats if they join the tories.

    I expect some to accept.

Or else the existing seats will be ring-fenced i.e. no Tory candidates or by a 'soft' campaign but at the one after next the Tories will tighten the screw.

The answer to your real question is no it is not truly fair. I am an American but in 2006 I stood in utter amazement as a electronic election machine flip my vote from one party to the other party not once but two times. The second time was with a poll worker standing beside me. Most Americans want the end of the war. They want green technology. They want Universal Health care. They want the end of surveillance of the private conversations. They want Justice. When will they get it. Well let just say they won't get it by just voting.
