    Default Thatcher advised Monckton's appointment.

UKIP is in the situation that nobody knows whether Monckton is Deputy leader of UKIP. Douglas Denny says it does not matter. UKIP's own press release said Nuttall had been appointed Deputy Leader and endorsed by the NEC. What role Denny played in this is not known.
Now we are told in today's blog by Alex Singleton in the Telegraph that Lady Thatcher advised Pearson to appoint him-not necessarily as Dep Leader but in a role.

Commonsense tells me that this story is probably untrue-I doubt Lady Thatcher is compos enough to discuss UKIP affairs most of the time-it also tells me that this maybe the reason why Monckton has not been publicly relieved of his job and he is still appearing in the Express as Deputy Leader.

But what a farce-a party which does not know who is its Deputy Leader.

The only farce is you displaying your ignorance, in spite of me explaining in detail about the situation.

I know who is a 'Deputy Leader'. Everyoner else does it seems except you and the 'Express' from what you say. Though it is normal for jounalists to make mistakes you don't have that excuse as I have laready explained to you..
And you are right about one thing - it does not matter a fig anyway, 'deputy leader' is a non-post in the constitution - it does not exist.

If Alex Singleton actually believes that my guess is that Monckton is his source.

So Douglas Denny, for the avoidance of doubt.are you saying that Monckton is not now Deputy Leader of UKIP? I mean what did you 'unanimously' endorse as reported in the UKIP press release?

It was unanimously (not in quotes) agreed that Mr. Paul Nuttal was a deputy leader.

What is hilarious is Margaret Thatcher supposedly sent Monckton out cycling to the Ale houses of England to talk and listen to the pub banter and then report back to Maggie what the public was thinking.

It's seems it is necessary to spell things out to little children. You are the one that makes every thread into an inane UKIP bashing kiddie rant. You are so utterly boring and predictable that I find it interesting to study you. How did you end up like this?
