The ideology of National Bolshevism has some merit to it, but the Russian NBP is a joke.

Alexander Dugin's work is worth reading, though - if you're interested in Third Position type stuff.

The NBP appears to be on the wain, however. I don't know much about the Russian nationalist scene, but autonomous nationalist groups seem to have gain a fothold.

I must admit the nazbols hold a bit of a fascination for me and Dugin is very interesting. I feel though that its just a cover for Russian expansionism and has little to do with genuine nationalism

Never really came up against this in my earlier anarchist days, but I did know a lot of vegan/ animal rights activists who revolved around the 'Crass' scene who fit the description.
Myself, I fell between the hippies and the punks which seemed to meld for a while in the festival/traveller scene.
