Welsh Nationalists Need To Oppose Mass Immigration

the idea that the Welsh are one homogeneous, harmonious people is a myth!

Large numbers of those who self identify as 'Welsh' are of English or Irish heritage, especially in the south and east. The 'ethnic Welsh' are largely restricted to Carmarthenshire and West and North wwest wales (those areas which until the last fifty years or so were Welsh speaking communities; only some of them remain so).

Of course it is the same in England too, where many who identify as 'English' are actually of Welsh, Scottish or Irish descent.

We are all indigenous however and all ethnic British.

Wales for the Welsh. England for the English. Scotland for the Scottish. Cornwall for the Cornish. Ireland for the Irish. Britain for the British. Europe for the Europeans.

How do you undo the damage that has been done though?

The British, despite the propaganda telling us we're mongrels and similar insults, are a gene pool, or ethnic group (not absolutley 'pure' of course but no gene pool is; the British are 'purer' than most Europeans) but the Welsh scots english and to some extent the Irish are largely interbred. There are few who are simply ethnic Welsh/Scots/English left! (The Irish are alittle more seperate but even they ahve had heavy English and Scottish input in the north and east). So you have a problem there with 'what is Welsh?' on a scalke far beyond 'What is British?

But what about the mass immigration of English that come into Cymru and don`t attempt to intergrate with Welsh Language, Culture? Would you agree with me, because of this that the Welsh ethnic survival and preservation is constantly under threat because of English colonialism into Cymru Soverginity.

I am all for Welsh Nationalists asserting their identity and culture but they need to oppose mass immigration into Wales from the Third World which is a serious threat to Welsh ethnic survival and preservation.

They are not 'immigrants' because Britain is one country and there are no pasport checks at the borders of the Welsh region!

You could reasonably call them 'migrants' but hardly part of a 'hoard', as English 'migrants' are not moving en masse to Wales as Polish or Third world immigrants are.

However despite this I think there is a strong case to protect the Welsh language to limit all migration of non welsh speakers into Welsh first language areas, as they do in Ireland. It only requires a few non Welsh speaking children to have a very damaging effect in schools.

Sparky is utterly deluded though if he imagines more than a handful of foreign immigrants will learn Welsh . His wife is the exception because she is choosing to assimilate, and I wonder if he is actually fluent in Polsih and his wife in Welsh, or have they just learned a bit to 'get by' and English is the lingua franca in the Spark household. Well done to both of them if they have become fluent though!

The bottom line is this. Wales is different to England / Britian all together. If you look through history Wales has been different completely to England one best example is if you go as far back to Hywel Dda's day women had rights! Something that
England didn't agree until after WW1.

Welsh people never declared wars with anyone. But did defend itself from aggression by it's neighbour. Wales has been fed a lot o bull through it's occupation ( because it is a form of occupation that Wales is under ), being ruled by a government that makes laws that didn't support, or benefit Wales. British nationalism is the new **** that's being fed now, because of the slow partition that's taking place of the UK.

People are wising up to the fact that the problem isn't external but internal. The Welsh are fed with **** from right wing English folks living in Wales because they fear of a break up of the UK.

Wales has kept it's identity through all its difficult circumstances and has prevail. But there isn't a strong English identity English became British and now people are causing fear to strum up fear of immigration.

Pure and simple.

Wales never started a war with the Muslim world! Or with Islam. This cements why Wales needs to have autonomy from the rest of the UK.
