Not to my heart Petrina, don't worry about that. Thanks for your reply BTW. And thanks for your comments about Mr Lance-Watkins. For someone who was not keen he took a great deal of interest and did of course suggest that people vote for UKF where they stood. I have read plenty enough of his comments and the leaked emails and suchlike about UKF. I would be interested to see if Peter Cole, for example, ever stands for election again considering the abuse he received from the Mr Lance-Watkins who was never running the show. I have indeed noted GLW is now involved in another pet project which I think will be rather less successful than UKF.

The last poll I saw had UKIP on 5% which if acheived would be double what we got in 2005. I can't see UKIP doing so well as that but have been around long enough to know that even if 5% was reached that would likely lead to another schism due to dissatisfaction at underperformance and whatever else has ****** off individual activists. So I think you are right that yet another party will be created post-election taking out once again some good people who should stick with UKIP. Like you I wasn't a fan of Marta but she seems to be doing a decent job as an MEP (ie, what she is paid for) and despite predictions and bets to the contrary remains an UKIP MEP.

As for the steering committee whatever happened to the concepts of openness and transparency? Whenever somebody complains of a lack of openness and transparency within UKIP I will be thinking of you Petrina.

We stood at the EU election for the cause simply because we were all appalled at the way UKIP was being governed and we were alarmed at the way Martha A had been shoe -horned into the South East.

Eh? Shoe horned ? The members voted her in at no 2 on the list ,she wasn't imposed !

It is so sweet that having left UKIP in a hissy fit many years before, and only days before a conference,(necessitating reprinting of programmes etc.) you should have such concern about UKIP governance.

Let`s put it this way ,an awful lot has been said on the topic of UKIP`s internal elections for MEP candidates. All that can be said with certainty that NF wanted her as his number 2 and she ended up as his number 2.

As for the reprinting of the conference programme is concerned -not so -Peter Baker `s programme was not to Nattrass`s liking and he had another one done before I resigned ,hence the fact that there were two available at conference.

    I stand corrected and apologise.

At least we did not have you in the party.

The liars and sycophants belong in UKIP. I am sure you will agree.

And when did you donate your brain to science?

Can someone start the party up again, please. I'd like to join

At least wait until after the General Election. If UKIP and the BNP don't produce any results there are plenty in both parties who will be thinking of leaving for various reasons and who will be considering other parties to join.

It still exits Kodeine, don't worry. Get in touch with Robin Page and I'm sure he'll let you in; probably as party leader! If not I'm sure Bruce Lawson and his misguidedly trusting daughters would love you to become Party Treasurer and/or Nominating Officer. There might be some financial liabilities existant and some troubling legal obligations to fulfil but I think they would be most happy leave all of that to you Kodeine.
