2008 the General Election wasnt really in mind, the European Elections were and we raised 700k for it and spent 600k.

That's a fair point. Have a good Christmas!

Adrian actually raises something I thought of.

I can remember the 2004? EU election and we were raising money for it the Summer before. I remember being extremely apprehensive about the prospects for the party being able to raise such an enormous sum for the EU elections of this year when, I believe, fund-raising only started around mid-January or so.

I was surprised and delighted that the party did it (I put in my share too). It raised more in a shorter period of time than it had before. I think this is the reasoning behind the current (non-existent) fund-raising effort for next year's GE. Of course, we'll have to hit the ground running early in the New Year since the election will probably be at least a month earlier in the year (i.e. May) and possibly sooner.

There is fundraising going on, not just explicitly mentioning the General Election.

The government anti BNP campaign will be a big effort by them for the GE. The BNP will be really struggling to make ends meet in time for the elections because people just dont want to be seen as being on a losing side. Membership renewals will be very small as well as a lack of )m)any new members. But hey, who knows, maybe bnp will get lucky and just scrape through things this time instead of always bombing in the GE?

You are having a laugh arent you? Membership re-newels are coming in thick and fast with many people already taken out life memberships. We also have 3000 people who have registered there details to become members as soon as the freeze is lifted. The BNP is set to exceed 15,000 members for the first time in our history!

I have the latest story from NG (pictured below).

"There are no UKIP infidels in London or Manchester. Never! My feelings - as usual - we will slaughter them all!" These are the latest words of NG in his latest newsletter to supporters. "God will roast their stomachs in hell at the hands of the BNP.They're coming to surrender tomorrow", he also stated.
