If I were the establishment, I'd be abolsutely happy that all these safety-valves exist. I think it's a bit ridiculous having all these different Party's. This reminds me something similar to what Julius Caesar had done to flush out opposition, then to finally become dictator. He had puppet candidates alongside his own!
I am in complete agreement with you sir. Registration with the electoral commission should be on a structual basis. If a political party fails to reach 1000 members within one year it should be struck off and its members banned from registering any political party for five years. I have highlighted you last sentence because I think it needs addressing,
Our politics needs more people participating, if they are drawn to politics via small parties so be it. The way voter numbers are falling we should be encouraging people to get involved by any means not banning them.
It would be one way for you to get rid of ALL of the English Nationalist parties though! It would also have stopped your friend AC from closing the FEP and boarding the EIP.
