Steve, what actually do you do? Do you support any political organisation?
Just my opinion but you seem to be doing exactly what you are complaining about?

Toque you seem a little un-fair although you put forward a well reasoned response. The English Democrats are not about one person. Dont you accept that the bigger picture is more important and that the English Democrats are campaigning for the people of England to be treated fairly. What do you find wrong with that?
English Patriot
The English Democrats are proposing that Steve Uncles represent England in the European Parliament, and be paid to do so from our taxes. How many non-EDP members reading this forum do you think would be happy about that?
Steve Uncles representing England? How would he manage without facebook?![]()
Mr Rob do you believe all you read on forums? and are you so concerned that you would be willing to make a stand to ensure the people of England are treated fairly?
Forums are for a bit of banter and a bit of fun dont tell me you are so sensitive, Im sure there are far more genuine and valid reasons why people would not vote for our existing bunch of politicians.
Dont be so harsh you seem reasonable deep down.
The English Democrats are a good bunch of people and most people I have met in the organisation are true English Patriots
Marjem which organisation/political leaning do you have?
Do not underestimate the power of social networking.
Not that it's any business of yours, or relevant to this debate, but I'm a self-employed music teacher. I pay taxes and receive no state benefits of any kind. My politics, whilst being of no relevance here as I am merely calling for a more open debate, are what I believe to be broadly centrist Libertarian, although recent events could change this at any time.
As for what I'm complaining about, I thought I made that abundantly clear in my post above.
However, here it is again for those who had difficulty comprehending the English language.
Only one side of the debate is going on here.
Mr Uncles has copied and pasted the words of Mr Demetriou without his knowledge and has been arguing against them.
However, Mr Demetriou has now discovered what has been going on and has now challenged Mr Uncles to argue his case away from this forum and on his blog.
Whilst I appreciate that this forum is open to anyone to join, had Mr Demetriou and Mr Rob not discovered what has been going on, then Mr Demetriou's posts would have continued to have been discussed in an effectively 'in camera' manner.
As matters stand, it appears that Mr Uncles is unwilling to discuss the points raised in Mr Demetriou's posts outside of this forum, but, instead, prefers to discuss them with people who already agree with him.
I question the validity of such one-sided discussion in the formulation and progress of any political party of any hue.
I am merely inviting Mr Uncles out into the open so his arguments and opinions can be discussed freely and fairly.
Who is Mr Demetriou does he have a specific political leaning. If you do blogs dont you hope they will be publicised?
English Patriot
I have only had two exchanges with Mr Uncles to date. In the first he accused me of being a racist, in the second he kindly recommended I watch one of your propaganda videos.
I know for a fact that he cuts and pastes from other people's blogs, and then ridicules them on here without their knowledge.
I know for a fact that the EDP have chosen this person to be their lead candidate for a region in the forthcoming European election.
You are judged on your choices English Patriot.
And actually, I do believe a lot of what I read on forums - I think when people are in a debate it is far more likely that their true beliefs will emerge than if they construct a leaflet or video in which they will inevitably seek to portray themselves in the best light. Perhaps this is why Mr Uncles avoids debate? But that is speculation.
I have found the opinions expressed by Cassie very informative. Doubtless so will others who visit here.
That these opinions have in no way been criticised by any other EDP member over the course of the last two days makes it impossible for me to believe that your last sentence is true.
Mr Rob I think you and your colleagues have perhaps over reacted dont you?
