Default More on AGW politics in the real world

Despite a recent announcement from China, considering possible CO2 emissions reductions, many China watchers and critical thinkers believe this:-

    - which is one reason why most climate scientists after Copenhagen (and in the subsequent Bonn discussions), were very pessimistic

(Just note the fact that they ALL accept the basic premise that mankind emitted CO2 is the major cause of the current atmospheric crisis )
Denial is a defense mechanism in which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence.
Denial is a mechanism of the immature mind, because it conflicts with the ability to learn from and cope with reality.

    Crisis.

What crisis? Where is the crisis.

It's just another average day on planet earth. There is no crisis. The sky is not falling.

I can't see China doing it. They, along with the Indians, continuously say that it will hamper their development unfairly etc etc and then there was this bit, which seems to be shifting the responsibility.

Personally I think that it might be a good idea as that way it could effectively be a tariff payable on their tat (which could quite easily be made in Europe with probably less pollutants) and then maybe we can lessen our consumption of a lot of these unnecessary items.

If you don't like what global warming alarmists are saying, don't worry; wait five minutes, and they'll change their story.
