Why ban linking directly to the BNP website, which I wouldn't have thought was 'racist'. Is this because of the 'turf war' which may have broken out?
Perhaps you might like to define the PC term racism, or better still, why not use unequivocal language in the first place. Some things might be offensive to some but not others, and besides you already have a rule about insulting people so what is the point of having another one. Why is race any more important than anything else someone might insult someone with?

I think that we are all old enough and ugly enough to work out when someone is overstepping the mark in terms of abuse or racism. The specific rule on insults is in relation to other posters on the forum, while the general rule on racism is with regard to general comments. It gets a special mention because it is prevalent amongst certain political groups and I want it very clear that it won't be tolerated here.
