Well said!
The ecco/communist movement is the most evil group of Bast**ds the world has ever seen. They have so far created a situation where people are dieing due to induced starvation at a faster rate than Hitler ever managed to kill people. They want to go a lot further. Purely evil.
I've finally got a web site to work!! See my page thingy.
Maybe they have more sense than they are given credit for...
Every week we hear about the alleged AGW case falling apart... but still there are those that push these useless schemes to invest in other countries...
These "useless schemes" simply do not do anything.... especially as regards to carbon - the underlying reason for them is all about wealth transfer.... and nothing to do with any real scientific principles

Haha, you don't know that there was (and continues to be) a population explosion in Africa due to western aid LOL
http://ideas.repec.org/p/biu/wpaper/2009-12.htmlAbstract
This article investigates the relationship between foreign aid and population growth in sub-Saharan Africa. The work considers population growth rate and a directly related to fertility demographic indicator – total fertility rate. Using a panel of 43 African countries over the last four decades of the 20th century, it demonstrates the positive association between foreign aid and population growth and suggests that foreign aid affects population growth primarily through its effect on fertility. These findings suggest that the appreciation of the demographic effect of foreign aid can have important implications for the design of policies regarding to foreign aid for presently developing countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.

Yes.
The population of developed nations is something like 10 times the level of the pre-industrial population. Africa is undergoing this without the industrialisation. Or at least that's the image. Actually the process of economic development is moving forward in most of the continent. This is being slowed by AIDs/TB and the other disease associated with Africa being the crade of both humanity and humanity's diseases.
The biggest driving force of econic modernisation in the region is the arrival of Chineese resource extraction and industrial outsourcing. China is having trouble finding enough workers so the ambitious Chineese are moving to Africa where the simple idea of using lots of cheap labour to make things alongside themselves being very hard workers is transforming the economies of mostly East Africa but it will get around to the rest very soon.
The impact of Western aid organisations providing emergency famine relief is mostly just what we humans who don't want to be evil should damn well do. When they build wells and schools the effect is less dramatic but far more worthwile. The Gates foundation is by far the most effective in this field. I recently saw a documentary showing how they have promoted the installation of simple, locally built, toilets in rural Bangladesh with the effect of having 10% of the rural population now having good sanitation and not just sh1tt1ng around the village, not bad for 2 years work.
However the massively more transformative factor is the deluge of western culture that is overwhelming local customs. This is generally portrayed here as a bad thing. Western Africa has a tradition of blaming bad things on child whitches and then horribly killing them. This culture is being quickly erroded by the influence of western journalisim exposing it to public attention which is often all that is needed. Similarly the practice of force feeding girls so as to make them attractive in the traditional extreemly fat way has been largely stopped by the men saying "why don't you look like Britney?" which is masogonistic and poor but better than women dieing in their 30's due to diabeties and heart attack.
