    The attached graphic shows the proportionality of the last General Election in the United Kingdom compared to that of various other countries.

    We believe that our voting system should be replaced with a more proportionate system, in order to better reflect the votes of the people.

    I know it's a troll, but:

    The US Electoral College is even less representative than FPTP. So these figures are Bollox....

    Thanks for your reply. The US Electoral College is only for the Presidential elections, so does not apply to this chart. The US figure of 95.8% is based on the 2010 election to the House of Representatives, the calculation for which can be found below.

    Total Displacement = 8.50%

    200 - 8.50 = 191.5

    191.5 / 2 = 95.75

    Rounded to 1dp = 95.8%
