No the idea that volcanic eruptions cause global cooling is very old and excepted.

I think you meant to say "accepted", not "excepted". Do you need the difference explained? No doubt you wouldn't accept the explanation though.

One intersting thought is that since we can now detect the effect of these small volcanic eruptions which have very small impacts we obviously have got good at analysing the climate. Strange how we still cannot definately say what the effect of CO2 is.

CO2 emissions have never been the cause of everything and natural effects have never been discounted. The issue has been that the known natural effects have not been able to account for the warming trend we have been experiencing.

These type of studies prove there is no conspiracy to prevent investigation of climate change outside of GHG emissions which gives me confidence that if AGW actually is a load of ******** this will be exposed by the tried and tested scientific process. At present only AGW alarmism seems to be rejected by these studies, no surprises there, whereas the core theory continues to be reinforced.
