I didn't give you my CV, that runs to two A4 pages, but as you tried to patronise and belittle me, especially from a mis-read post, I simply stated where my experience came from. A bit surprised with that background that I needed to.

Those engaging in "big willy competitions" are a psychiatrists wet dream - years of major issues to unravel - not sure why it was mentioned here.

Not at all, you stated theres was no commercial encryption system that the Authorities couldn't decipher, i disagreed and pointed out that very long knapsack algorithms will always be uncrackable for the foreseeable future due to the recognized and extreme difficulty of find the two prime roots of a very long number, finding primes being a prticularly tough nut to crack that has given mathematicians a headache for 600 years. You then recited your CV at me.......................

"big willy competitions" are situations where two people try and prove there superiority by claiming some trait, attribute, knowledge or other is bigger, better, faster etc that there opponent. Reciting your CV online to prove your right in an argument is exactly that.

If I may observe, you seem to have transformed from a likeable and popular poster worthy of regular +ve rep, to an arch and ill-tempered contrarian that needs to distort plain facts just to post. You took a patronising and superior attitude to something that I posted - which remains perfectly valid - and twisted it to claim that I'd 'fallen for some BS'? According to the rubbish above, when I said I'd been in IT and hadn't (fallen), you claim that was me reciting my CV.

I know what a 'big willy competition' is, and I wasn't engaging in one (as per previous disavowal), merely contributing to a discussion. So I thought. I leave it to others to decide whether it was worthy or not, but my point remains that given your background, you didn't argue my sources, or even mention Echelon - you've gone the personal 'insult route', and even then by distortion. Rather juvenile.

Hey chill out, its only an internet forum. I had no intention of upsetting you, sorry if I did. but I am convinced they cant crack all encryption systems, and they wouldn't I KNOW admit it even if it was true. i KNOW certain knapsack encryptions are currently uncrackable!!

Hey, get real. If you had the history I have in another sub-forum, you would've reacted the same way. The distortions weren't necessary. And seemingly, I'm not alone.
