No it's not. If he had admitted it years ago, it might have meant something. It's been obvious what was happening in this country for many years as a result of Labour's immigration policies but all he and his Labour mates did whilst in office was pretend there wasn't a problem.

All he is doing now is trying to win votes.

Do some employment agencies really only take foreign workers on their lists?

I'm relieved Labour have finally seen the light...

... or, are Ed's advisors looking to the next election?
It is not racist to be concerned about immigration.

The two things that will seriously reduce migration to the UK are, stop making money out of foreign students and leaving the EU. Neither of those two are very likely.

I'd be curious to know how Cameron planned to get it so low.

only 20% of the immigrants coming to Britain are from within the EU and usually the better class of immigrant, it's the immigrants from outside the EU that are real problem, how is he going to deal with that much much greater problem?

The real test of Ed's sincerity is what does he intend doing to put an END to mass immigration.
They made a mistake? Then stop continuing to make it!

Probably. There was a half decent discussion on Jeremy Vine';s Radio2 show today, esp. by a Polish lady calling in.

I though they were putting an end to this? : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...t-streets.html

I can somehow understand the reasoning behind countries such as Finland, Denmark, Sweden or Scotland(if they ever become independent) why such countries favour immigration because the population of those countries is very small then immigration makes up for the numbers but I have never understood why would anyone in England support immigration. England as a country is terribly overcrowded and therefore for the people living there any new immigrant further strains the already burdened infrastructure.
