Default Mini heart, round, square shaped fruit for decoration

I went to get my hair done and chatting away to a girl about gardening, I found she worked in a garden centre, where they were experimenting on growing mini heart, round and square shaped fruit for decoration, they had brought in their own bees to pollunate the fruit, what's going on?

I told her about growing my own tomatoes from seeds from organic tomatoes that I had bought last year, she had no idea that you could do that, shouldn't we start educating our children about growing produce in schools, we always grew something, even in the infants.

I remember growing mould/bacteria in a petri dish, does that count?

Well yes, if you want to go into mircobiology, providing it's confined, or you know what your growing.

Providing we are educating, and the children are learning and it's relatively safe, after all, we are producing the adults of the future.

So, growing Anthrax and releasing it into the wild, wouldn't count then?

That would be fine, it probably exists in my nice Victorian terrace house here, the original plaster is mixed with horse hair.

Could we culture some Ebola on fertilised egg albumen?

Nothing new. The Japanese have been "growing" square water melons for years, as well as heart shaped ones.

Did I mention that the Japanese liked growing anthrax?

Interesting thing about these square water melons is that everyone knows how much they cost (which is quite a lot). The bigger they are, the more expensive. So when they are used as gifts (ie always) you are also transmitting a message on how much you think of the person. If you respect/like them a lot, you don't give the smallest/cheapest watermelon available as that would be transmitting a different message.
