I am against Hanging too if the people are not alive when you put the rope around their necks. Other wise I am all for it.

For evils against humanity, like racism and bigotry. At least that will put an end to the EDL/BNP thuggery and criminal activity.

Did you/do you agree & support the execution of the former President of Iraq a few years ago. Personally I was disgusted by it

Wrong. The population since the abolition until relatively recently was something like 3/4 in favour. Didn't stop themkeeping the law abolishing it. It is precisely because of their caution and nervousness over certain issues and the consensus over certain social policy that CP was not reintroduced. I think it impossible to bring back, there'll never be the political will.

It's very hard to reinstate something like CP in the West once abolished... but don't get me wrong, some crimes are so horrific the death penalty is well justified. Problem is justice is not always being seen to be served now in even minor cases, so the system can't be trusted with execution. Getting out of the EU, ignoring the ECHR, and re-applying the laws you once had as a sovereign country is more important.
