Newsnight 15thy May, including a Polish immigrant business woman (typically) slagging of British workers - well she would, because she prefers to employ Poles!

Yes I know what you mean, I met one on a personal development course in Central London 'You English are so weak!' I debated this but she wouldn't have it yet, I realised one night the joke was on her but it would take a while for her to realise it...........she was pretty but had a slight skin condition on her face and it fell into place one night as we were on the same tube and she was eating crisps.... just about the most carcinogenic food you can eat!
Highly fried and the green ones have toxin that poisens Liver cells.

To be honest BCG I can understand the Polish woman slagging off the Brits, she prefers to support her own people and has to fidn a justification for, I'd wager, employing 100% or near eastern europeans. Its the BBC that sickens me, and the trade unionist who isnt attacking their anti British bias and defending British workers!

What is terrifying is the number of British people who still assume the BBC is objective and unbiased, and consequently suck up all thsi propaganda against their own people thinking that Brits are somehow intrinsically 'lazier' than other ethnics! Its an unbelievably racist attitude!
Saying its cultural is no excuse either, that suggests that there are 'lazy cultures' which, judging by unemployment statsistics, must include black Caribbeans, Bangladeshis, Somalis, Pakistanis. Are they all 'lazy' too?

By no means balanced, and nobody challenging the view that Brits are lazy.
The BBC dooesnt need to 'push' aview, when it selects a group who do it for them! There wa sno reason to have an obviously biased Polish entreupreneur on there for one - of course she preferred her fellow Poles!

She was one view and even she blamed that on Brits being given too much in benefits, she said she tried to employ Brits, but they didnt want the job, nothing about preferring Poles. Chris Grayling is hardly in the BBC's pocket. He along with the BBC's story emphasised the point of the rise in immigration going hand in hand with the rise in British unemployment, whether that is proof of anything is another story.

When they say Brits, I dont think colour is what people are referring to, they are comparing Brits of any race with foreign born. Im not sure why you are trying to make this into a race issue.

I dont think they mean 'foreign born' at all! These people are still 'immigrants' even after they gain British citizenship. When theyre talkign of 'lazy' Brits we all know that the picture that comes to their minds is the ethnic British so called 'underclass', which in terms of ethnic 'diversity' at most includes the mixed race (half black) progeny of formerly teenage mothers . (Its classist too because they are not considering their own job seeking graduate sons and daughters who are unwilling to take $hite temporary part time jobs as part of this 'lazy' class either!)

However it is NOT 'race' per se' as such, it is 'ethnicist' i.e.stereotyping of an ethnic group, in a way which would be totally UNacceptable were it used against any other ethnic group, let us say a 'white' one such as tinkers, Roma or Portuguese, and consequently described as 'racist'.

How hard did she try? Is she telling the truth? Did she really wnat Brits or does she prefer havign a Polish speaking workplace with people of the same cultural background with whom she has more rapport? I dont blame the woman if she can get away with employing Poles of course she will! its our gOvernment I blame for allowing her to do so!

It would be interestign to have heard from a couple of the Brits (preferably articulate educated ones)who 'turned down' the jobs offered to them. There must have been powerful reasons why they did - if she is even telling the truth!
