Because if he was on CIA payroll and had given him this much information, he would have been spirited away to another country, for his protection.

There is a whole host of facts why bin Laden was dead along time ago, but I'm not going to drag them up.

But here's a few things to ask yourself. Why did they go in all guns blazing and shoot him into pieces so that he was unrecognisable? These were trained Navy Seals, surely they wanted him taken alive, they did with Saddam and Gaddafi, so that had proof to show the world. They could have used all manner of devices, stun grenades, drilling a small hole in the wall and piping in sleeping gas (that has no smell) etc.

Secondly, why bury the body at sea? This is deeply offensive to Muslims. It usually is only allowed when the person dies at sea and the body would rot before they got back to land.

Lastly, where was the outrage from the Islamic countries. I mean these guys get seriously offended if your draw a cartoon, let alone bury one of their heroes at sea, against the Qu'ran/hadiths.

Or he was hung out to dry. I believe the navy seals shot bin Laden to kill him & end it all .. i.e. no trial, no cost of millions, no years of giving him back a platform he'd all but lost. I also believe he was chucked in the ocean to prevent a shrine and again, to end it all now for him .. and essentially it's what happened because al Qaeda had split into many factions, and bin Laden was no loss to them.
