Whilst the links between Greece's economic woes and immigration may be limited, it is clearly finincial hardship that leads to a massive boost in votes for far-right parties (0.29% to 7%).

Violence against ethnic minorities has also increased.

Which brings me back to a previous question that remains unanswered. If we are all so brainwashed, what is it about the collected ranks of the far-right (bnp and edl supporters etc) that renders them immune from this brainwashing? Are they cleverer? Do they have an advanced understanding of social policy and economics that the rest of us are too thick to understand? Perhaps there is something in the lining of black bomber-jackets that deflects the rays?
Many anti-immigrationists confess to living in areas where there are very few immigrants, so it can't be 'exposure' to immigration...

Firstly, the BNP is not a "far right" party; it is actually a socialist party, though a nationalist not an internationalist one. The EDL consists of mostly working class people who were formerly Labour voters. So be clear that these organisations are not "far right".

"Right" and "left" are meanignless outdated concepts now. The real divide is between nationalists (both right and left wing) and globalists (both right and left wing) who share a common goal of , if not actual OWG then at minimum movement towards greater supranational governance, which IMO, will eventually lead to OWG whether people want it or not.

I dont think anyone is "immune" to brainwashing, however some people's personal experiences may either lead them away from it, or may have immunised them against it. For example if you have been brought up and lived in a community which you have seen destroyed and displaced by mass immigration, then you are going to be rather less susceptible to the pro immigration propaganda than if you have been sheltered from this. Why some individuals nevertheless fall for the brainwahsing while others dont, who can say? Why do some people fall for religion while others dont? Why do some people become political activists while others dont? Why did some Germans get swept up in Nazism while others didnt, or some Russians in supporting Stalinism? Again, who can say? Its partly environment but probably partly something in your genes. I think its independent of intelligence however.

I am implying nothing. I simply said that southern europeans feel less inhibiton about voting for nationalist parties because they havent been subjected to the level of anti nationalist propaganda that north western europeans have.

Also, isn't it amazing how many people who are obsessed with immigration also have convictions for violent assault and other offences agsint their fellow man? It's almost as if there was a correlation between strong xenophobia and a criminal lack of empathy and compassion (demonstrable through the abuse of another's rights)...
