Gaucho! You'd better hide, the Nazi's from the dark side of the moon are coming down to get you.
It's dreadful, apparently.

The average distance of the Earth to the Sun (what we call an astronomical unit) is about 92.8 million miles.
If you made a scale model of the solar system where that distance were equal to one inch, then one mile in the model would be almost exactly a light year in the real world!

I can remember a front page headline during the 1980s I think, in the a very low-brow red-top called 'The Sunday Sport', which read, "WW2 Nazi Bomber Found On Moon". The media is full of cräp of this sort and films such as 'Iron Sky' follow in the tradition of 'Spring Time For Hitler' in lampooning Nazism.
Listen to your Papa, he knows best!
Get your facts straight.
The Sport reported that it was an American WW2 bomber, although they named this as a B52 (not built until the 1950's), while the accompanying photograph clearly showed a B29 Superfortress.
It was due to such sloppy reporting that I had suspicions as to the veracity of the claim.
The "Newspaper" subsequently reported "World War 2 Bomber Found on Moon Vanishes".
We may never know the truth...
