It's really up to you whether you calm down or not, although, with you being a surgeon, it would be a good idea. It's just that you don't seem very calm and always seem to 'escalate' light hearted stuff into mud slinging, there is no great issue here to get wound up about, relax.

Well, that's a start, because in order to answer in the negative, you had to give him some thought. You see, this is the way that informative discussions happen, by expanding on smaller issues.
He was a (semi) hero of mine when I was young, mainly because I was very keen on astronomy. He seemed sort of 'eccentric' too, which fits him in with that quaint British predilection.
I'm off gardening now, and unlike you, it has a calming effect on me. Will you be operating today?

As a youth it was just a hobby, but as I've got older I've started to see it as a window into an appreciation of our (minute) place in things, and therefore has taken on a philosophical tinge.
A study of evolution and especially geology of late gives me a similar pause for thought. are there any fields of thought that make you feel small Seymour?
