Former councillor Michael Coleman, leader of the Stoke BNP group, appeared in North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court yesterday on two charges of "racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress caused by words or writing between August 2011 and March 2012."
The story appears in today's Stoke Sentinel at http://www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk...ail/story.html
He requested a crown court trial, and his case will appear for committal at Stoke Crown Court on May 24th.
I understand that the charges relate to Mr Coleman's website at http://stokepatriot.blogspot.co.uk
(Though of course some or all of the particular articles complained of may no longer be online.)
Though we were on opposite factional sides, I found Mr Coleman to be among his party's most intelligent and committed activists. I'm sure all sections of the movement will wish him victory in this case, which demonstrates that despite the terminal decline of the BNP, our political establishment remains terrified of those who dare to challenge the multiracial hegemony.
