The daily maily article is very clever, by first posting a picture of an irrelevant protest with foul placards, and then categorising the anti war protestors as 'extremists' ( a link being created by that irrelvent picture), thereby creating an image of any muslim opposed to war being extreme. It then also shows a picture of a non extreme looking guy sticking two fingers, thereby creating an image that both the 'extreme' and 'non extreme' elements of islam are in fact both extreme/violent.

I see more extremism at the blues football games.

If a white non muslim was at an anti war protest would he be an extremist too?

It just all propagnda on different psychological levels.

Even intelligent people think theres is a problem with extremism, theres more death and destruction caused by hundreds of other more significant elements in this country than islamic 'extremism', yet they recieve relatively insignificant media coverage. The extreme image has to be pushed to gain support for the wars, the wars will not end until iran is invaded, which the british are very sour about since BP's contract was ended (1950's) and it is no secret they have been striving to cause havoc and desruption in Iran, as well as conspiring to overthrow almost every regime in power since then.

Make no mistake and dont be ignorant, the british have been at war with iran since WW2, Britian and the heavenly/saintly humane Communist Russians joined forces to invade iran to for strategic purposes, 90,000 were killed by famine which followed due to the Armies taking up all the resources, leaving the iranian public, not surprisingly very bitter - this lead to AIOC (now BP) contract with the worlds largest oil field being cancelled - and Britian has launched covert attacks on iran which have not ended to this day. Its surpirisng how little the people here know about their own history, it began way before we were all born, and even before 9/11.

See Operation AJAX for more details - its all been declassified (by CIA) and is NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY. It's a fact.

Therefore the extremist element of islam in the UK will be at the forefront of the news, until the iran war is over (and that will be never because the iranians are fiery and very patriotic, not like the iraqi's) - by us taking these steps will be tighening the noose around our necks.

If 'extremism' was erradicated, then we are under no threat, therefore we should not be in any war. Extremism must stay until iran has been dealt with.

I'm a muslim, have been since birth, and have met tens of thousands of muslims, in my whole life, ive met 2 or 3 guys who i would class as extreme in the 90's during the bosnia days, and in the last 10 years, i havent met any, although there are 1 or 2 floating about, they are not a threat to anything, except the sales targets of Mach 3's or wilkinson quattro or woteva.

Extremism doesnt exist, extreme paranoia does.
"Firstly an anti war protest doesnt equate to 'EXTREMISM'...."

So the ones who were protesting were the moderates, and those who shouted them off the streets were the EXTREMISTS!!!!

    "
Extremism doesnt exist, extreme paranoia does"

There are few more paranoid than You Ale Monkey.

Out of interest - what angers you more? People defiling your religion in the most extreme way I could imagine possible i.e. killing innocent civilians in its name - or a demo against the rapid changes in culture in this nation?

I know a couple of Muslims who are quick to attack any little thing such as an EDL demo and yet have never spoken of their outrage over their religion being abused in more serious ways. After moaning about the US Koran burning I asked if they thought killing innocents in the name of Islam was worse. The logic is obvious and they had to say yes, but then proceeded to carefully try and excuse it.

I would class these people as moderates who are angry that Islam is "under attack" (is it??) but have entirely misunderstood the root of the problem. A bit like you. They provide tacit support for the extremists by behaving in that way.

Very first google attempt. And it's even in the Daily Mail!!!! lol

Here's another google for you: 'reinforcement theory'.

I find you guilty as charged.
That didn't look very peaceful to me, it looked quite violent and aggressive, just like Islam really.

Now, I remember that fracas very well. The reason Muslims came out and told the other Muslims to p1ss off is quite simple really. It was Anjem Choudary's group, Islam4UK. Why don't they like Anjem? Because Anjem says what other Muslims think, but are wise enough not to say out loud to the dirty Kuffar. Of course most people really have no idea about Islam or its internal politics, so are none the wiser and remain ignorant.

Pat Condell sums it up best.

You do realise, when Muslims say that the killing of innocents is wrong, they are only referring to Muslims, not the dirty Kuffar?

In Islam, only Muslims can be innocents, they are deceiving you.

Pat Condell is a washed up Comedian (literally), that sums him up really. He found attention by ridiculing religion and hasnt stopped since, just another attention seeker.

Ask yourself why and how anjem choudry ends up on BBC when he has no credentials and is in no way any sort of representative of islam except for 4-5 pals who follow him everywhere. Why were imaams from mosques not asked to speak, there were hundreds of high profile muslim representatives to be interviewed but somehow they found a guy on JSA....

He was a BUM of the street, and his group only came to existence after his extensive media coverage.

Also note he was a lawyer......and they dont have exclusive organisation for lawyers do they? The Law Society....ring any bells?

Is killing civilians 'extreme' regardless of doctrine? or only when its a muslim? When america kills civilians by accident, is that 'extreme'? They did it in the name of democracy and 'freedom'..whats the difference if an INNOCENT was killed? Bush did call it the crusades so was in christianities name? If it was christianity is it extreme? is it extreme only when its religion, or only when its a muslim, or would you categorically place 'innocents' deaths as extreme regardless of doctrine? Remember the meaning of innocents before you answer this because i know your answer will imply afghan innocents are less innocent than american or british innocents.

Killing innocents is never right, and the quraan preaches, strictly against this. if psyhco's do use it for criminal acts is that the problem of the book or the psycho? In that case where lies the problem?

Koran burning etc angers Afghans and muslims moreso because we are always told this isnt a war on islam, its vs terrorism, AND
after invading the country, ridiculing and mocking their culture will cause anger regardless of what it is. Like you point towards muslims who refuse to express outrage at muslim killers, the same way you refuse to express outrage at degrading acts like quraan burning and urinating on corpses. As i said many times, its a vicious cycle, and nobody gives, therefore it will never end. But the cycle is rolling on your end, not ours, if after 10 years (from 9/11) islamic doctrine was telling muslims to make war with the west, it would have happened by now.

Secondly you confusing a number of matters here, the Afghans are not fighting for islam, and neither are the iraqi;s, they're fighting foreign occupation, they were a proud poeple way before islam came to their country. Hate for islam only prolongs these wars, the afghans have been at war with the 3 most powerfull superpowers the earth has ever seen, Britian (2-3 wars), Russia, USA.....i think they deserve to express their anger at how the world keeps sh*tting on them, whereas us, sitting here, with all the luxeries the world has to offer, are in no position to complain about our lifestyles being destroyed by 'islamists' - because we are light years from it.

Tell me an afghan guy with a beard whos family has been killed decides to go blow himself up....in whos name did he do it? Your answer = islam.
    Therefore
An American soldier who went beserk and killed afghans, in whos name did he do it? The republicans? christianity? white skin? darwin? or did he act alone out of desperation/anger? Whats the difference when civilians are killed?

Apart from 7/7 which is debatable, how many innocents have been killed in the name of islam in england? In America? More poeple have been killed in the anme of anti islam outside war zones than islam (even within them but thats also debatable)

See the problem is, no matter how much the government denies this isnt a war on islam, it is - and thats what angers me, because now we have tom c*ck and harry in forums like this 24/7 preaching lies about islam being violent, 6yr old wives, taqqiyahs, beheading jews etc etc...

You might be slightly calm in nature ron, but your mentality is no different from the likes of Francis. Your living an illusion where islam is attacking you, yet in your daily life, your probably dnt even see a muslim.

Tell me the last real life confrontation you had with a muslim in real life?
