The counter-claim was made by Gillam, and you rushed to defend it. Our beloved permanent leader has now confirmed that it was indeed a £500,000 legacy. Why not go the whole hog, if you will excuse the expression, and tell the whole truth for once? That would silence the pesky reds!!!
The motions from the conference had to ratified. If it's any help, many of those at the meeting, including myself, voted against, but it was those proxy (ie: postal) that turned the votes. Plus quite a few present who voted in favour.
In the LE itself, I voted for Andrew, and would have voted for Richard. I know without any doubt that the election itself was well run and perfectly above board. Ask Andrew and Richard, they were there too.
This is what I said:£500,000 is an estimate of the amount from 3 legacies. The largest is estimated to be about £380,000. This is the one I was referring to.Nick was quoting what Searchlight had alleged. We haven't been left the whole estate, how silly are some people! it has to go through probate in any case before the distribution to inheritors can take place. Oh, and I know exactly which account the money will eventually be deposited in, so you can all forget "back pockets"!
Are you now going to explain why you side with Searchlight and HnH, and why you cut Nick's tweet?
"This is what I said:

Where and when did you say that? I have only seen Griffin's reference to the allegation in his Tweet. He didn't make it clear that the £500.000 was the sum of three seperate legacies. Where was Nick quoting from? I still haven't seen the Searchlight allegation to which he refers.
"Are you now going to explain why you side with Searchlight and HnH?"
I do not recall ever saying that I 'side with Searchlight and HnH'. What else do you base this bizarre accusation on?
"......and why you cut Nick's tweet?"
I explained this in two earlier posts, please scroll up to #56 & #58.
