All give me your idea's to create jobs in the economy.
All give me your idea's to create jobs in the economy.
End pointless wars that deprive the tax payer of money they could be spending in the shops.
End pointless wars that are pushing up the price of oil which in turn is pushing up the price of every thing depriving people of money they could be spending creating more jobs.
End sanctions for the reasons sighted above.
Try to keep taxes low as possible for every one leaving more money for people to spend in the shops.
Make planning permission easier. They have done this and are continuing to do it for people like me in the building industry it has been a god send. We're going around to peoples house for small conversions and people are just thinking that they can have an extension with out planning permission and while the house is in pieces they may as well just do it. I'm sure the same would be true for many other industries. Government making everything hard work and unprofitable really is not helping.
That's just a few.

Their is no reason you should not be able to do both.
Lower taxes = more people who have jobs.
Lower cost of war = more people who have jobs.
Lower oil prices = more people who have jobs.
Where I've put "Lower" in all those statement you can change to "higher" then you can change the "more" to "less".
The more people that are working the more revenue the government has it's been proved over and over again.

I could not possibly answer how much I'd cut taxes by but the aim would be to just keep reducing them.
As to where to cut taxes would be on things like wars that we are not winning, daft schemes to combat climate change, 45 million a day to the EU, foreign aid would be a good start.

End immigration, make all employers pay for annual work permits for EU citizens thus making it cheaper to employ a Brit?
It wont create more jobs but it will free up jobs for citizens.
Offer start up help for British businesses and make all business landlords offer premises to rent to British citizens first, opening them to foriegn citizens only if they havent been taken up within a fixed period.
Apply rules about employign British citizens only to all foreign owned businesses, Polish Delis, Pakistani Curry Houses and Vietnamese nail bars. This will force prices up in these places and allow British owned businesses a chance to compete fairly. Order all businesses with a certain number of employees to emply a majority of British citizens, thus preventing the chain migration associated with many foreign owned foreign staffed businesses, which bring no benefit whatsovere to British people.

End immigration and ban the employment of non-British citizens were British workers are available.
Close the nuclear industry down and end electricity imports instead build tidal barrages and restore coal power.
Bring British troops home boosting spending in the UK.
Increase the size of the Royal Navy.
Demand the water companies build a national water grid.
Wipe out crime in Britain's estates, towns and cities thus restoring once busy shopping areas.
Restore Britain's fishing grounds and stop paying British farmers not to farm.
Invest in nuclear power including research into thorium reactors, hydrogen generation and breaking down radioactive waste products. All could be in demand globally if we get the technology right and while the Germans are out of the picture this is a good time to pounce.
Invest and research into renewables that are viable for the UK and in methods of energy storage to increase their efficiency - another set of technologies that will soon be in global demand.
Offer free university places to in demand subjects such as maths, science and engineering for English students to encourage take up of these subjects. This not only reduces our reliance on imported skilled labour but creates a pool of skilled graduates allowing companies to grow.
Remove socialist teachings from schools that kills the entrepreneurial and competitive spirit of our youth.
Add a "home grown" factor to government purchasing decisions. Buying British at all costs is counter productive in the long term but providing a leg up for British companies that are level or close to international rivals will counter the global market mentality the British general public have.
Target shopping areas in towns and cities to focus trade in smaller areas. Internet shopping and out of town supermarkets are causing a long term decline in the high street but a smaller, focused shopping area will remain viable. Shops/cafes/restaurants at the periphery of town centres that are frequently vacant should have usage change to housing - otherwise these places simply become properties the landlord uses to rip off wide-eyed business start ups.
Invest in better town and city centre transport and parking rather than just pricing motorists out of these areas - this will also boost town centre custom.
Planning permission laws need changing, not just for smaller builds but infrastructure projects too such as water reservoirs (a national water grid is unnecessary). Nimbyism tends not to stop such schemes but just delay them and add cost.
