To put all this in a nutshell: The population of the island of Britain is way out of proportion what a piece of land of its size on its latitudes could support. The optimal size of population for Britain is around 15-20m. Therefore even without any immigration the island is vastly overpopulated.

Of course, the things are as they are and only a nuclear holocaust could reduce the population of Britain to sustainable levels but immigration does not help things either.

Or a total end to immigration, removal of all those who are not already citizens and a sensible popualtion reduction policy (which would barely impact upon the shrinking ethnic British popualtion but could discourage foreign ethnic groups from breeding like lemmings).
